Mood Probiotic Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by InnovixLabs
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Mood Probiotic against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Mood Probiotic by InnovixLabs
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Mood Probiotic contains two active ingredients: Bifidobacterium longum Rosell-175 and Lactobacillus helveticus Rosell-52 ND. Both are live, beneficial bacteria strains designed to support your gut microbiome.
The product also contains inactive ingredients — potato starch, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and magnesium stearate — which are standard capsule fillers and binders.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence we hold shows insufficient reliable data to rate either of these probiotic strains for the conditions they're marketed to support — including mood and cognitive function, anxiety, allergic rhinitis, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and athletic performance. That doesn't mean they don't work; it means rigorous clinical trials haven't established their benefit yet for these uses.
Talk with your pharmacist about what the emerging research suggests if you're considering this product.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Both strains are generally well tolerated in healthy people. However, if you're seriously ill, immunocompromised, or critically ill, these products require extra caution — there have been rare but serious reports of these bacteria entering the bloodstream (bacteremia or sepsis) in vulnerable patients, especially premature infants and those on life support.
Oral side effects are rare and may include abdominal discomfort, bloating, flatulence, or constipation. One patient reported a dry cough.
Safety data during breastfeeding are limited, so check with your doctor before use if you're nursing. For pregnancy, the data are rated possibly safe, but discuss with your healthcare provider for personalized guidance.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take antibiotic drugs, separate them from this product — antibiotics can reduce the probiotic's effectiveness by killing the live organisms. Ask your pharmacist for the best timing.
No other drug interactions are documented for the ingredients we checked.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
If you're a healthy adult with no serious illness or immune problems, this product is an option to explore — though the evidence for its mood and cognitive benefits isn't yet established. If you're on antibiotics, space them away from this product.
If you're critically ill, immunocompromised, pregnant, or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before starting.

Mood Probiotic by InnovixLabs Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Mood Probiotic by InnovixLabs contains two live probiotic strains, and both have a documented interaction with antibiotic drugs.
Because these probiotics are living organisms, taking them at the same time as antibiotics may reduce the probiotic's effectiveness — the antibiotics can kill a significant portion of the live bacteria before they reach your gut. This is a Moderate-severity interaction.
