This supplement contains 4 active nucleotide ingredients: adenosine, cytidine (the active form of citicoline), guanosine, and uridine. Nucleotides are building blocks your cells use to make and repair DNA and RNA.
The product also contains two inactive ingredients—a vegetable-based capsule and vegetable magnesium stearate (a flow agent)—to hold everything together.

Not established
Adenosine in this product is considered effective for paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (a type of rapid heartbeat) and for cardiovascular disease diagnosis—but those data come from the prescription injectable form used in medical settings, not from oral supplements. Cytidine has possibly effective evidence for age-related cognitive decline and glaucoma, but the evidence for stroke is possibly ineffective, and for Alzheimer disease and traumatic brain injury, there simply isn't enough reliable data to know either way.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Adenosine by mouth or injection into muscle hasn't reported adverse effects in the limited oral supplement data we have—but the evidence is thin, and safety hasn't been formally established for supplement use. The powerful prescription injectable form used in hospitals can cause chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, flushing, headache, low blood pressure, and in rare cases, serious heart rhythm problems or heart attack.
Avoid adenosine supplements during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as safety data isn't sufficient. Cytidine appears generally well tolerated in studies, though long-term safety isn't fully mapped out.
People taking it by mouth have reported abdominal pain, back pain, blurred vision, constipation, diarrhea, swelling, headache, trouble sleeping, nausea, and rash. Avoid cytidine during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.

The most serious interaction is with dipyridamole (Persantine), a blood vessel dilator used in cardiac stress tests—adenosine can amplify both its therapeutic and toxic effects, potentially causing dizziness, slow heart rate, and fainting. Dipyridamole should be stopped several days before any adenosine-based stress test.

Adenosine also carries a moderate risk with carbamazepine (Tegretol), an anti-seizure medication. Both drugs can cause heart block, and using them together might add up to a more serious problem.
Additionally, methylxanthines—including caffeine, aminophylline, and theophylline (used in some asthma and breathing medications)—can block adenosine's effects by competing for the same cell receptors. You'd want to avoid caffeine and similar compounds for 24 hours before any test or therapeutic use involving adenosine.
