Pearl Tomato contains 2 active ingredients: L-cysteine, an amino acid, and white tomato fruit extract. L-cysteine is a building block your body uses to make protein and other compounds.
White tomato fruit extract is derived from the tomato fruit itself and concentrates compounds naturally present in tomatoes. The capsule also contains several inactive ingredients—modified cellulose, calcium carbonate, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide—which are standard binders, fillers, and flow agents used to hold the supplement together and fill the capsule.

Not established
The evidence for what this supplement can actually do is very limited. L-cysteine has been studied for androgenic alopecia (male or female pattern hair loss), venous leg ulcers, hangover, stroke, and gastritis, but the data is not strong enough to say whether it works for any of these.
White tomato fruit extract appears ineffective for bladder cancer and breast cancer; for diabetes, high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia), exercise-induced asthma, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH—prostate enlargement), the evidence is also insufficient to know whether it helps. In short, we don't have reliable data showing this product is effective for the conditions it might be marketed for.
How safe is it?

L-cysteine from food is generally well tolerated, but the long-term safety of high-dose supplements isn't well studied, so caution is advised. White tomato fruit extract, including the extract used here, is generally well tolerated in typical amounts.
However, tomatine—a compound in tomato leaves and unripe green tomatoes—can cause serious side effects like dizziness, headache, mild muscle spasms, or diarrhea if consumed in very large amounts, though this is rare with ripe tomato fruit. Some people have reported airborne allergies to tomato stem proteins, though this is uncommon and separate from food allergy to the fruit itself.
Both L-cysteine and white tomato fruit extract are rated likely safe in pregnancy and lactation based on the data we hold, but high-dose L-cysteine supplement safety over time has not been well studied, so talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you're pregnant or nursing and considering this product.
