HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Probiotic 30 Billion Good Bacteria + Prebiotic by Wonder Labs
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
This product contains 11 ingredients, including 10 probiotic bacterial strains and one prebiotic fiber. The active probiotics are Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus salivarius, Lactobacillus plantarum, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus casei, Bifidobacterium animalis lactis, Lactobacillus helveticus, Lactobacillus brevis, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus — each one is a live microorganism meant to support your gut health.
The prebiotic is inulin fiber, which feeds the good bacteria so they can thrive. The capsule also contains inactive ingredients: cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silica — these are fillers and binders that help form and stabilize the capsule.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for probiotics in this formula is mixed. Lactobacillus acidophilus is possibly effective for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), infection with Helicobacter pylori, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis.
Bifidobacterium bifidum is possibly effective for IBS and respiratory tract infections. Inulin fiber is possibly effective for obesity, constipation, and diabetes.
Lactobacillus helveticus has insufficient reliable evidence for the conditions tested, including allergic rhinitis, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, cognitive function, depression, rotaviral diarrhea, and exercise-induced respiratory infections. For many other uses, the evidence just isn't established in our data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum are generally well tolerated in healthy people, though those with weakened immune systems should check with a doctor first. The most common side effects from these probiotics are mild gastrointestinal ones — bloating, flatulence, abdominal pain, or diarrhea — but these are uncommon.
Very rarely, live probiotic bacteria have been isolated in serious infections like sepsis or endocarditis, though most cases are thought to happen in people whose immune systems are already compromised. Inulin fiber is generally well tolerated in food amounts but often causes gas and bloating, especially at higher doses (over 30 grams).
Very rarely, anaphylaxis has occurred after consuming foods high in inulin. Since this is a concentrated supplement, talk to your doctor before starting it.
No pregnancy or breastfeeding safety data are on file for most of these ingredients; inulin is likely safe in pregnancy and lactation.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check antibiotic drugs before starting — the probiotic bacteria in this product may become less effective if you take them at the same time. Also flag any diabetes medications (antidiabetes drugs) you're on, because the inulin fiber might theoretically increase the risk of low blood sugar.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This probiotic might help with IBS, certain infections, or antibiotic-associated diarrhea if the evidence holds up for you. Anyone taking antibiotics should space them several hours apart from this supplement, and people with diabetes should check with their doctor about the inulin fiber.
If you have a weakened immune system or are seriously ill, ask your doctor before starting. Run your medications through the checker on this page.

Probiotic Blend
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking Lactobacillus acidophilus with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of L. acidophilus.
L. acidophilus preparations usually contain live and active organisms. Therefore, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and L. acidophilus preparations by at least two hours.
Prebiotic Inulin Fiber
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, inulin might increase the risk of hypoglycemia with antidiabetes drugs.
Some clinical research shows that inulin improves glycemic control in patients with diabetes; however, it is unclear if it has hypoglycemic effects.
