The liquid also contains vegetable glycerin, deionized water, and natural cinnamon flavor as inactive ingredients that give it texture and taste.

The evidence for stevia's effects on diabetes, blood pressure, and weight isn't established enough for us to rate it reliably. Some clinical trials suggest stevia extract might lower blood sugar levels after meals in people with type 2 diabetes, and some research hints it could lower blood pressure in people with hypertension.
But other studies show no clear benefit, so the picture isn't settled yet.
How safe is it?

Purified stevia sweeteners used in food are generally well tolerated and recognized as safe in typical amounts. However, whole-leaf stevia or supplement doses like this one haven't been studied as thoroughly, so use caution.
When taken by mouth, stevia and its active compounds usually tolerate well. Minor side effects—abdominal bloating, dizziness, headache, muscle pain, nausea, and numbness—may occur, but most resolve within the first week.
Allergic reactions are rare but possible.

The most serious concern is lithium. If you take lithium for bipolar disorder or another condition, stevia might slow how your body clears it, letting levels build up.
Animal research suggests stevia has mild diuretic activity—meaning it makes your body shed water—and that could reduce how much lithium your kidneys excrete. This is a Moderate interaction, so talk to your prescriber or us before using this product.
Stevia may also affect blood pressure medications (antihypertensive drugs) and diabetes medications. For both, the concern is Minor: stevia might slightly lower blood pressure on top of what your medication already does, or increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) when combined with diabetes drugs.

Stevia extract
Lithium
Theoretically, stevia might decrease clearance and increase levels of lithium.
Animal research suggests that stevia extracts might have diuretic activity. Theoretically, increased reabsorption of lithium along with sodium might reduce excretion and increase levels of lithium.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, stevia might increase the risk for hypoglycemia when combined with antidiabetes drugs.
Preliminary clinical research in patients with type 2 diabetes suggests that taking a single dose of stevia extract 1000 mg reduces postprandial blood glucose levels when taken with a meal. However, other clinical research in patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes suggests that taking stevioside 250 mg three times daily does not significantly affect blood glucose levels or glycated hemoglobin (HbA1C) after three months of treatment.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, combining stevia or stevia constituents with antihypertensive agents might increase the risk of hypotension.
Stevia extract and stevioside might lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension. However, other clinical research suggests that stevioside does not significantly lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
