Saw palmetto is generally well tolerated in adults, though mild side effects like headache, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and fatigue can occur. Rarely, it's been linked to skin reactions (fixed drug eruption with blisters) and, in very isolated cases, heart rhythm changes or heart-related symptoms—stop use and see your doctor if you notice chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or severe dizziness.

Extra virgin olive oil in food amounts is very safe, but concentrated supplements are less studied. Concentrated olive supplements may cause headache or stomach discomfort.
