What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: certified organic Tribulus (Tribulus terrestris) dried fruit liquid extract. Menstruum is listed as an inactive ingredient — that's the liquid base used to extract and deliver the herb.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Tribulus appears possibly effective for sexual dysfunction based on the evidence we hold. However, it's listed as possibly ineffective for athletic performance, so it won't help you build muscle or boost workout results.
For benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), there isn't enough reliable evidence to rate how well it works.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Short-term use in healthy adults is generally well tolerated, but the quality and long-term safety data are limited — we don't have a lot of information about what happens if you take it for months or years. Serious side effects are rare but have been reported and include liver and kidney injury, seizures, and in one case a patient who drank large amounts developed seizures and acute kidney injury.
More common mild side effects can include abdominal pain, cramping, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation, though in one study these rates were similar to placebo. The safety data advises against use during pregnancy because it may affect hormones and isn't established as safe.
Avoid while breastfeeding due to lack of reliable safety information.

Tribulus by Herbal Terra Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Herbal Terra's Tribulus can interact with a few important medication types.
The most serious concern is with blood pressure medications (antihypertensives) — tribulus may lower your blood pressure further, raising the risk of dangerously low blood pressure (hypotension). This is a Moderate severity interaction.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Tribulus also interacts with diabetes medications (antidiabetes drugs) at Moderate severity. If you're taking these, tribulus might lower your blood sugar too much, causing low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
Additionally, if you take lithium (a mood stabilizer), tribulus could increase lithium levels in your body because of its diuretic properties, which means your lithium dose might need adjustment — also Moderate severity.
Altogether, these interactions span 256 individual medications. We'd strongly recommend running your exact prescriptions through the interaction checker below before you start this product.
