TruFloraPro Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking TruFloraPro against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of TruFloraPro by Master Supplements
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
TruFloraPro contains five active ingredients: two Lactobacillus strains (salivarius LS-33 and plantarum Lp-115), Bacillus coagulans (trademarked as ProDURA), and two enzymes — Beta-Glucanase and Hemicellulase — plus a proprietary probiotic blend whose individual components are listed separately. The probiotics are live microorganisms meant to support digestive health; the enzymes assist in breaking down food.
The product also contains inactive ingredients like cellulose, maltodextrin, and magnesium stearate as binders and fillers.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Bacillus coagulans has been rated possibly effective for constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The evidence for its use in antibiotic-associated diarrhea, athletic performance, cancer prevention, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is not yet established.
The effectiveness of the Lactobacillus strains and enzymes in this product is not on file in our data.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Bacillus coagulans is generally well tolerated in healthy adults, though the safety evidence varies and product quality can differ. There isn't enough reliable safety data overall — talk to your doctor before using this product.
A rare concern: probiotic products containing live organisms have been linked to infection (bacteremia and sepsis) in patients with central lines, severe illness, or weakened immune systems, including very premature infants. Healthy people with intact immune systems are at much lower risk, but those categories should be cautious.
We don't have pregnancy or breastfeeding safety data on file for any of these ingredients; talk with your doctor or pharmacist for personalized advice.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take antibiotics, separate them from this product — the living organisms in Bacillus coagulans can be killed by antibiotics, which reduces effectiveness. No other medication interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product may help with constipation or IBS symptoms. If you're on antibiotics, you'll need to time this supplement carefully — separate the two by a few hours.
If you're severely ill, immunocompromised, or have a central venous catheter, check with your doctor first. Run your medications through the checker below before starting.

TruFloraPro by Master Supplements Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
TruFloraPro by Master Supplements contains one ingredient we can check for interactions: Bacillus coagulans (the ProDURA ingredient).
This probiotic interacts with antibiotics. Since Bacillus coagulans is made of living organisms, antibiotics can kill a significant number of them and reduce their effectiveness.
If you're taking an antibiotic, separate when you take it from when you take this product — your pharmacist or doctor can tell you the right timing.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
The other four active ingredients in this product — Lactobacillus salivarius LS-33, Lactobacillus plantarum Lp-115, Beta-Glucanase, and Hemicellulase — we could not check for interactions. That doesn't mean they don't interact with anything; we simply don't hold data on them yet.
Altogether, these interactions span 182 individual medications. Use the interaction checker on this page to search for your exact prescriptions before you start.
