The product also includes inactive ingredients — magnesium stearate and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose — which serve as a capsule binder and flow agent.

Not established
For rosemary extract, the evidence shows it's possibly effective for memory support. However, the data we hold doesn't establish effectiveness for age-related cognitive decline, alopecia areata (hair loss), or nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
For bitter melon, we have no established evidence in our data for any of the conditions listed — diabetes, liver disease, digestive complaints, athletic performance, or amenorrhea are all rated insufficient evidence. How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Rosemary extract is safe in normal culinary amounts, but concentrated extracts and undiluted essential oil require caution. In food amounts, it's likely fine, but medicinal or large doses should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.
Topical use can cause allergic reactions, lip and gum swelling, allergic contact dermatitis, and rarely occupational asthma. The undiluted oil and its camphor content might trigger seizures in susceptible people.
Bitter melon is generally well tolerated as food, but supplement amounts may lower blood sugar and cause stomach upset. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal — heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal discomfort, occurring in about 3% to 16% of people in studies.
Rare serious effects include hypoglycemic coma and seizures in children. The safety data advises against bitter melon in pregnancy because seeds and high doses may cause uterine or other harmful effects.
Breastfeeding should be avoided due to insufficient safety information.

Both ingredients interact with diabetes drugs. Rosemary theoretically raises low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) risk, and bitter melon can lower blood glucose levels, potentially causing the same risk when combined with diabetes medications.
Rosemary also contains salicylates and may add to the effects of aspirin and other salicylate-containing pain relievers (choline magnesium trisalicylate, salsalate). Additionally, rosemary may decrease how your body handles certain medications processed by the CYP1A2 enzyme pathway.
Bitter melon carries a specific caution with pazopanib (Votrient), a cancer drug — theoretically, bitter melon could raise pazopanib levels and increase side effects. Altogether, these interactions span 520 individual medications.

Rosemary Extract
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, rosemary may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro and animal research suggests that rosemary inhibits platelet aggregation.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, taking rosemary with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Animal research shows that rosemary extract can decrease blood glucose levels in diabetic models. However, research in humans is conflicting. Although rosemary powder decreased blood glucose levels in healthy adults, no change in blood glucose levels was seen in adults with type 2 diabetes, most of whom were taking antidiabetes drugs.
Aspirin
Theoretically, rosemary might have additive effects with salicylate-containing drugs such as aspirin.

Choline Magnesium Trisalicylate (Trilisate)

Salsalate (Disalcid)
Theoretically, rosemary might have additive effects with salicylate-containing drugs such as salsalate.
Rosemary is reported to contain salicylate.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, rosemary might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that rosemary induces CYP1A2 enzymes. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Bitter Melon
Antidiabetes Drugs
Taking bitter melon with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Bitter melon can lower blood glucose levels and might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs. This might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in some patients. Monitor blood glucose levels closely.
P-Glycoprotein Substrates
Theoretically, bitter melon might increase levels of P-glycoprotein substrates.
Bitter melon might inhibit the p-glycoprotein (P-gp) intestinal pump and increase intracellular levels of P-gp substrates. In vitro research in intestinal cells shows that 1-monopalmitin, a constituent of bitter melon, increases levels of daunomycin, a P-gp substrate. Additionally, drinking bitter melon juice has been associated with a case of acute pancreatitis in a patient who had been taking pazopanib, a P-gp substrate, for 8 years. Researchers theorize that inhibition of P-gp led to increased levels of pazopanib, resulting in pazopanib-induced pancreatitis.
Pazopanib (Votrient)
Theoretically, bitter melon might increase levels of pazopanib, potentially increasing the risk of adverse effects.
In one case, a 65-year-old patient taking pazopanib for 8 years for renal cell carcinoma experienced signs and symptoms consistent with acute pancreatitis 4 days after drinking bitter melon juice at a dose of 100-150 mL daily. The patient's symptoms, amylase levels, and lipase levels improved upon discontinuation of bitter melon and pazopanib. Pazopanib treatment was re-initiated with no further evidence of pancreatitis. Researchers theorize that inhibition of P-glycoprotein by bitter melon led to increased levels of pazopanib, a P-glycoprotein substrate, resulting in pazopanib-induced pancreatitis.
