HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Ultra Apple Cider Vinegar by Nature's Blend
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product has one active ingredient, apple cider vinegar. The capsule also contains inactive ingredients: gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, maltodextrin, and natural flavors.
These are non-active ingredients that make up the capsule itself. The uses people most often look for apple cider vinegar to address are the ones in our effectiveness ratings: acne, athletic performance, cognitive function, dental plaque, depression, and eczema (atopic dermatitis).
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
Our data rates apple cider vinegar as insufficient reliable evidence to rate for each of these uses: acne, athletic performance, cognitive function, dental plaque, depression, and atopic dermatitis (eczema). In plain terms, the evidence we hold doesn't establish whether it helps with any of them.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
In food amounts, apple cider vinegar is generally well tolerated. Our safety notes say larger, undiluted, or supplement doses can cause harm, and there is little safety data on supplement doses.
Rare reports with long-term use in larger amounts include low potassium (hypokalemia), elevated renin levels, and osteoporosis (thinning bones), seen in a single published report of one person. No pregnancy or breastfeeding data is on file for this product, so there isn't a rating to go on.
Talk with your doctor or pharmacist for advice on your own situation.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Double-check these medication types before taking this product, worst severity first: digoxin, diuretics, and insulin (all Moderate, tied to the potassium-lowering concern), then antidiabetes drugs (Minor, for possible low blood sugar). Your own doctor or pharmacist can confirm what is right for your medications.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This may interest adults curious about apple cider vinegar, though the evidence for its uses is not established in our data. If you take digoxin, a water pill, insulin, or an antidiabetes drug, or have diabetes or heart concerns, be especially careful and talk it over with your own doctor or pharmacist before starting.
Anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning long-term use should also ask their own healthcare provider first.

Ultra Apple Cider Vinegar by Nature's Blend Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Nature's Blend Ultra Apple Cider Vinegar does interact with several medications, all through its apple cider vinegar content.
The most serious documented interaction is with digoxin (Lanoxin), a heart medication, rated Moderate: apple cider vinegar may lower potassium, which could raise the risk of digoxin toxicity. Altogether, these interactions span 162 individual medications.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Diuretics (water pills) and insulin are also rated Moderate, both because of the same potassium concern, since low potassium (hypokalemia) is the risk noted with each. Antidiabetes drugs are rated Minor, with a possible added drop in blood sugar (hypoglycemia), because the vinegar may lower blood glucose.
We hold interaction data for this one ingredient, and every category above is documented. Check your exact medications with the search tool on this page, and go over any results with your own doctor or pharmacist before you start.
