Clinical
Tucks Medicated Cooling Pads are a topical solution applied to the skin, sold over the counter under FDA's OTC monograph rules rather than an individual approval. The listed active ingredient is witch hazel at 500 mg/mL, a plant-derived extract from the bark and leaves of the witch hazel shrub. Witch hazel is commonly used on the skin as an astringent, a substance that is typically used to tighten and dry the skin's surface and to help soothe minor irritation.
