Clinical
This is a topical OTC monograph product that comes as pre-moistened cloth pads containing witch hazel. Witch hazel is a plant extract typically used in over-the-counter hemorrhoidal and skin care products for its astringent properties. The pads are designed to be applied directly to the affected area. This product is marketed under FDA's established rules for OTC hemorrhoidal treatments rather than as an individually approved drug application.
