Clinical
This is an over-the-counter liquid-filled capsule taken by mouth, marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules for cold and flu symptom relief. It contains acetaminophen, which is typically used to reduce fever and ease minor aches and pains; dextromethorphan, commonly used to suppress cough; guaifenesin, an expectorant typically used to help thin mucus; and phenylephrine, a decongestant commonly used to relieve nasal congestion. The product is labeled for daytime use and combines these ingredients to address multiple cold and flu symptoms at once.
