Here's the simple version: both androsterone and methyltestosterone act on the same androgen receptors in your body. Methyltestosterone is already an active male hormone (a testosterone-like drug taken to raise androgen levels), so stacking another androgen like androsterone on top of it can add to the same effects rather than cancel them out.
What that can look like in real life is more of methyltestosterone's usual androgenic effects: oily skin and acne, thinning hair on the scalp, shifts in sex drive, and mood changes. It may also nudge your overall hormone balance off track. The good news is this is rated a minor interaction with limited evidence. Still, androsterone supplements are banned and not safe, so please skip them and talk with your doctor or pharmacist about legal options.
