Rivaroxaban falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Arnica interacts with.

Theoretically, arnica might have additive effects with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs. Homeopathic arnica preparations are unlikely to have this interaction.
In vitro evidence shows that sesquiterpene lactones in arnica flowers can decrease platelet aggregation. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the short version: Rivaroxaban (Xarelto) is already a blood thinner that works by blocking a clotting factor called Factor Xa. The concern with arnica is that, in lab studies, some of its compounds seemed to make platelets a little less sticky. Stacking that on top of Xarelto could, in theory, add up to a bit more of a blood-thinning effect, which might mean easier bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding that takes longer to stop.

I want to be honest about how weak this is. This effect has only been seen in test tubes and animals, not in real people, and homeopathic arnica (the heavily diluted kind) is very unlikely to matter at all. Even so, since you're on a blood thinner, please run any arnica product, especially anything taken by mouth, past your pharmacist or doctor first.

Arnica is a daisy-family plant used mainly in topical and homeopathic products for bruising, muscle soreness, and pain. The evidence is mixed and mostly weak, and undiluted arnica taken by mouth can be toxic, so it should only be used on unbroken skin or in heavily diluted homeopathic forms. What Is Rivaroxaban Used For?

Brand name: Xarelto

Rivaroxaban tablets are used to reduce the risk of stroke in adults with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm), treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT, a blood clot in a vein) and pulmonary embolism (PE, a blood clot in the lungs), and lower the chances of these clots coming back. They also help prevent clots after hip or knee replacement surgery, protect hospitalized patients at risk for clots, and — in combination with aspirin — reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events in adults with coronary artery disease (CAD) or peripheral artery disease (PAD).

Rivaroxaban tablets are also approved for treating VTE (venous thromboembolism, blood clots in veins) and preventing recurrence in pediatric patients from birth to under 18 years, and for preventing clots in children aged 2 and older with congenital heart disease after the Fontan procedure. Rivaroxaban for oral suspension (available as Rivaroxaban Granule and Xarelto oral suspension) is specifically indicated for these two pediatric uses.
