Anacaulase-bcdb falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Black Seed interacts with.

Theoretically, black seed may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro and animal research suggests that black seed extract can inhibit platelet aggregation and clotting, and increase bleeding time. In addition, decreased platelet counts have occurred in a human case report and in animal research.

Here's the situation with NexoBrid (anacaulase-bcdb). This is an enzyme gel made from pineapple that's applied directly to severe burns to dissolve and remove dead tissue. Because it's working on an open burn wound, there's already some risk of bleeding at the treated area. It isn't really a blood thinner you swallow, but our database groups it with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs because of that local bleeding concern.

Black seed, in lab and animal studies, seems to slow clotting and may lower platelet counts a bit. So in theory, pairing the two could mean a little more oozing or bruising around the burn site. I want to stress this is theoretical and based on weak evidence, not proven cases. Still, since this is used on serious wounds, please mention any black seed supplements to your burn care team before treatment.
