Erelzi (etanercept-szzs) is a biologic that calms an overactive immune system, which is how it helps with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis. The concern with black seed is that it might nudge the immune system in either direction. Some lab and animal studies suggest it can rev the immune system up, which could theoretically work against your medicine and let symptoms like joint pain or swelling creep back. Other studies suggest the opposite, that it dampens immunity, which could add to your medication's effect and possibly raise infection risk.

Here's the honest part: this is based only on test-tube and animal research, so it's theoretical. Food amounts in cooking are unlikely to matter, but concentrated supplements are less certain. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.
