Here's the honest picture with Tezspire (tezepelumab) and black seed. Tezspire is a lab-made antibody that calms the immune signals driving asthma inflammation, so it works on your immune system rather than being broken down by the usual liver enzymes. The concern on file is that black seed might nudge immune activity in one direction or another, which could in theory work against a medicine meant to quiet that same system.

But I want to be clear about how weak this is. It comes only from test-tube and animal studies, and even those disagree, some show black seed revving the immune system up, others show it dampening it down. There's no good human evidence that it changes how well Tezspire controls your asthma. Food-amount black seed as a spice is unlikely to matter; concentrated supplements are less studied. Before starting a black seed supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or asthma doctor.

What Is Tezepelumab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Tezspire

Tezepelumab is used as an add-on maintenance treatment — meaning it works alongside your other medications — for adults and children 12 and older with severe asthma that isn't well controlled on their current treatment.

It is also approved for adults and teens 12 and older with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) — a condition where ongoing sinus inflammation causes polyps (tissue growths) to form in the nose, blocking airflow and causing symptoms that don't respond well to standard treatments.
