Clinical research suggests that blood irradiation therapy may stimulate immune function in some patients. Theoretically, concurrent use of blood irradiation therapy might interfere with immunosuppressive therapy.
Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the idea behind this one. Elranatamab (Elrexfio) is a bispecific antibody used for multiple myeloma. It works by grabbing your own T cells and pointing them at cancer cells, so in a sense it revs up part of your immune system to attack the myeloma. Blood irradiation therapy is thought to nudge immune activity as well, though the evidence here is theoretical and comes from lab-type reasoning, not solid human studies.

The worry on file is that mixing them could throw off the balance of the immune effect, either overlapping or working against your treatment. Honestly, we just don't have good data to say how it plays out. Elranatamab already carries serious risks like cytokine release and infections, so please don't add any light-based blood therapy without running it past your oncology team first.
