Acetaminophen, Butalbital, Codeine falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Buchu interacts with.

Buchu contains pulegone, a known hepatotoxin. There is some concern that buchu may adversely affect the liver, especially when the leaf is used in large doses or the oil is ingested. Theoretically, concomitant use with hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of liver damage. Here's the simple version: buchu leaves contain a compound called pulegone that can be hard on the liver, especially in concentrated supplement doses or if you swallow the essential oil. The drug you asked about already contains acetaminophen, which is itself processed by the liver and is the most common cause of liver injury when too much is taken. Stacking a potential liver irritant on top of acetaminophen is the concern here.

To be honest, this worry is theoretical and based on how these compounds behave, not on real cases with this exact combination. Still, since your pill packs acetaminophen, I'd play it safe. Watch your daily acetaminophen total, skip alcohol, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding buchu, especially if you have any liver concerns.
