Here's the simple version: Kazano combines two diabetes medicines, alogliptin and metformin, that work to lower your blood sugar. The concern with caraway is that, in animal studies, it appeared to lower blood sugar on its own. So in theory, pairing concentrated caraway with your medication could push your sugar a little too low.

If that happened, you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, lightheaded, or unusually hungry. I want to be honest, though: this is based on lab and animal research, not solid human studies, so it's more of a watch this than a real alarm. The caraway you sprinkle on food is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated caraway oil or supplements are worth running past your pharmacist or doctor first, and keep an eye on your readings.
