CNS DEPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate
Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Caraway interacts with.
Animal research suggests that (S)-(+)-carvone, a major constituent of caraway seed extract, has sedative effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for this combo pill: the codeine part is a mild opioid that can make you drowsy, and that's the piece caraway might bump up. Lab work in animals shows one of caraway's oils, called carvone, can have a calming, sedative effect. So in theory, layering concentrated caraway oil on top of your codeine could leave you feeling a bit more sleepy, foggy, or lightheaded than usual.
I want to be honest, though: this is a theoretical concern based on pharmacology, not strong human studies. The caraway you sprinkle on food won't matter. It's really only the concentrated oils or supplements worth thinking about. If you use those regularly, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up so they can keep an eye on the drowsiness.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate page
“Anacin with Codeine combines aspirin, caffeine, and codeine, and each of the three picks up its own supplement problems, so this is a list worth real caution. Just over half of the 398 ingredients here, 202 of them, can add to aspirin's blood-thinning action and raise bleeding risk.”
