Albiglutide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Carqueja interacts with.

Theoretically, carqueja might lower blood glucose levels and might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs. This might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in some patients. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, metformin (Glucophage), pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the simple version: both Carqueja and your Albiglutide (Tanzeum) can nudge your blood sugar in the same downward direction. Albiglutide already lowers blood sugar by helping your pancreas release insulin when you eat. If Carqueja also tends to lower sugar, stacking the two could push you a little too low, which we call hypoglycemia. That might show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, or feeling foggy and irritable.

I want to keep this in perspective, though. The concern here is theoretical and comes mostly from lab and animal studies, not strong human research. So it isn't a reason to panic. If you do use Carqueja, check your blood sugar more often and let your doctor or pharmacist know so they can keep an eye on things.
