Insulin Lispro Recombinant falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Carqueja interacts with.

Theoretically, carqueja might lower blood glucose levels and might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs. This might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in some patients. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, metformin (Glucophage), pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the simple version: insulin lispro (Humalog) already brings your blood sugar down fast, and carqueja has shown blood-sugar-lowering activity in lab and animal studies. Put them together and the worry is that they could stack up, pushing your sugar lower than you intended. That can show up as the classic low-blood-sugar signs: shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded.

Now, I want to keep this in perspective. This is a theoretical concern based on early research, not strong human studies, so it's far from guaranteed. Still, since insulin leaves little room for error, I'd play it safe. If you want to try carqueja, check your sugars more closely and talk with your doctor or pharmacist first before changing anything.
