Benzthiazide (Exna) is a thiazide-type water pill that lowers blood pressure by helping your body get rid of extra salt and fluid. Cat's claw contains a compound called rhynchophylline that, in lab and animal studies, seems to nudge blood pressure down too. So the concern here is simple addition: two things both lowering your pressure could pull it down a little too far.

If that happens, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or woozy when you stand up, or notice more fatigue. I'll be honest though, this interaction is theoretical and hasn't actually been reported in people, so don't panic. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up before combining them, especially if your blood pressure already runs low.
