Insulin Lispro falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Chaga interacts with.

Theoretically, taking chaga with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Animal research suggests that chaga might decrease blood glucose levels and increase insulin levels. This has not been reported in humans.

Here's the simple version: Insulin lispro already lowers your blood sugar, and Chaga might nudge it down a little more. In animal studies, Chaga lowered blood glucose and bumped up insulin levels. The catch is this has never actually been shown in people, so it's a theoretical concern, not something we see reported in real life.

Still, when two things both push sugar down, they can stack up. If your blood sugar drops too low, you might feel shaky, sweaty, dizzy, confused, or have a pounding heart. I wouldn't panic over a cup of Chaga tea, but if you want to use a concentrated supplement regularly, check in with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your numbers.

What Is Insulin Lispro Injection Used For?

Brand names: Admelog, Admelog Solostar

Insulin lispro injection is used to improve glycemic control (blood sugar management) in people with diabetes mellitus. It is a rapid-acting insulin analog approved for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Admelog is specifically indicated to improve glycemic control in patients with diabetes mellitus. Humalog Mix75/25 is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults with diabetes mellitus; it is a fixed-ratio mixture of insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine, and its fixed proportions do not allow for separate adjustment of basal (background) and prandial (mealtime) doses.
