Amifampridine Phosphate falls under CHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Clubmoss interacts with.

Evidence from in vitro research suggests that clubmoss extract can inhibit acetylcholinesterase activity. Theoretically, concurrent use of clubmoss with other cholinergic drugs might have additive effects and increase the risk of cholinergic side effects. AChE inhibitors and cholinergic drugs include bethanechol (Urecholine), donepezil (Aricept), echothiophate (Phospholine Iodide), edrophonium (Enlon, Reversol, Tensilon), neostigmine (Prostigmin), physostigmine (Antilirium), pyridostigmine (Mestinon, Regonol), succinylcholine (Anectine, Quelicin), and tacrine (Cognex).

Here's the gist for Firdapse (amifampridine), which you likely take for Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome. Firdapse boosts nerve-to-muscle signaling, and clubmoss may add to that effect in the same direction. In lab dish experiments, clubmoss appeared to block acetylcholinesterase, the enzyme that clears the signaling chemical acetylcholine. Letting more acetylcholine hang around could pile on top of what Firdapse is already doing.

If those effects stack up, you might notice more cholinergic side effects: belly cramps, diarrhea, nausea, drooling, sweating, or muscle twitching. I want to be honest though, this is theoretical and based only on test-tube work, not on people taking the two together. Still, since clubmoss also carries its own toxic alkaloids, please check with your pharmacist or neurologist before combining them.
