Here's the simple version: cocoa naturally contains a bit of caffeine, and Dexamfetamine is already a stimulant. Stacking one stimulant on top of another can add up. So the concern is that pairing them might nudge up the usual amphetamine side effects, things like a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, a touch of anxiety, or a higher blood pressure reading.

I want to keep this in perspective, though. This is based on expert opinion rather than strong studies, and the caffeine in a normal cup of cocoa or a square of chocolate is pretty small. A concentrated cocoa supplement is more likely to matter than an occasional treat. If you notice you feel extra wired or your heart races, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
