Mestranol, Norethynodrel falls under CONTRACEPTIVE DRUGS — the group Deer Velvet interacts with.

Theoretically, deer velvet might interfere with the effectiveness of contraceptive drugs.
Laboratory research shows that deer velvet contains small quantities of estradiol and testosterone. While clinical research shows that taking deer velvet extract does not raise testosterone levels, estradiol levels were not measured.

Enovid-E is an older combination birth control pill that uses an estrogen (mestranol) and a progestin (norethynodrel) to prevent pregnancy. The concern here is mostly theoretical. Lab testing has found tiny amounts of natural hormones, including estradiol, in deer velvet. Since your pill already works by carefully balancing hormones, the worry is that adding extra hormone-like compounds could, in theory, throw off how reliably it prevents pregnancy.

Honestly, the evidence behind this is weak and based on pharmacology, not real-world cases. A human study didn't find raised testosterone, but it didn't measure estradiol. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since reliable contraception matters, mention deer velvet to your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.
