The product you're asking about is a combo pill that pairs aspirin and codeine for pain with a dose of caffeine. That caffeine is the piece that matters here. DMHA is itself a stimulant, and stacking one stimulant on top of another can add up. Together they may push your heart rate and blood pressure higher and leave you feeling jittery, anxious, with a racing or pounding heartbeat or trouble sleeping.

To be honest, this concern is theoretical, based on how both ingredients behave rather than solid studies, so it's not a reason to panic. Still, DMHA is an unapproved ingredient the FDA has flagged as risky, so I'd steer clear of it. Please run this by your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.
