Danaparoid falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group European Barberry interacts with.

Theoretically, European barberry may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro and animal evidence suggest that berberine, a constituent of European barberry, might inhibit platelet aggregation. Theoretically, European barberry might have a similar effect.

Danaparoid (Orgaran) is an injectable blood thinner that lowers your blood's ability to clot, so its main risk is bleeding. European barberry contains berberine, and in lab and animal studies berberine seems to make platelets (the cells that help form clots) a little less sticky. So the concern here is simple: if barberry nudges your clotting down at the same time danaparoid is already doing that, the two together could in theory raise your bleeding risk a bit more than either alone.

I want to be honest that this is theoretical, based on pharmacology and animal data, not strong human studies. Still, with a blood thinner I'd play it safe. Watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or unusually heavy bleeding, and please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding a barberry or berberine supplement.
