Danaparoid falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Danshen interacts with.

Theoretically, danshen may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Danshen has been reported to have antithrombotic effects. Animal research also suggests that taking a danshen combination formula with clopidogrel exhibits a synergistic increase in antiplatelet aggregation and prolongation of coagulation time when compared with either taken alone.

Danaparoid (Orgaran) is a blood thinner that works by blocking part of your clotting system, so your blood doesn't form clots as easily. Danshen, the heart-and-circulation herb, has also been reported to slow down clotting on its own. When you put the two together, those effects can stack up, and that may push you past the point you want, raising your risk of bleeding.

In real life that could look like easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, blood in your urine or stool, or cuts that won't stop. To be fair, this concern is mostly theoretical and based on weak, anecdotal and animal data, not solid human trials. Still, since danaparoid is a serious medicine, please don't add danshen without checking with your doctor or pharmacist first.
