Ripretinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group False Unicorn interacts with.

In vitro, false unicorn extract inhibits cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) activity. Theoretically, false unicorn might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates. Drugs that might be affected include some calcium channel blockers (diltiazem, nicardipine, verapamil), chemotherapeutic agents (etoposide, paclitaxel, vinblastine, vincristine, vindesine), antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole), glucocorticoids, cisapride (Propulsid), alfentanil (Alfenta), fentanyl (Sublimaze), losartan (Cozaar), fluoxetine (Prozac), midazolam (Versed), omeprazole (Prilosec), ondansetron (Zofran), propranolol (Inderal), fexofenadine (Allegra), and numerous others.

Here's the gist for Qinlock (ripretinib): your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break it down and keep its levels in a safe range. In lab (test tube) studies, False Unicorn appeared to slow that enzyme down. If that happens in real life, ripretinib could clear more slowly and build up, which may turn up its side effects, things like fatigue, hair loss, high blood pressure, muscle and joint aches, or hand-foot skin reactions.

I want to be straight with you though: this is based only on lab data, not on people, so it's theoretical. Still, ripretinib is a serious cancer medicine, so don't add False Unicorn without checking first. Please run it by your oncologist or pharmacist before mixing the two.
