Beyaz is a birth control pill that combines drospirenone, ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen), and levomefolate (a form of folate). The concern here is purely theoretical. Some compounds in fennel act a little like estrogen in the body, so in very large supplement amounts they could, in theory, compete with the estrogen in your pill and slightly nudge down how well it works. That might mean weaker cycle control or, at the far end, less reliable pregnancy prevention.

Here's the reassuring part: this is based on lab pharmacology, not real-world reports, and the fennel you enjoy in cooking or tea is very unlikely to matter. If you're thinking about concentrated fennel capsules or fennel essential oil, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first. Don't change your pill on your own.

Beyaz is a birth control pill that combines drospirenone, a low dose of ethinyl estradiol (estrogen), and an active form of folate. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help clear the estrogen part of this pill. Lab studies hint that fennel might slow that same enzyme down, which could theoretically let estrogen levels drift a little higher. If that happened, you might notice more of the usual estrogen-type effects like nausea, breast tenderness, headache, or bloating.

Here's the reassuring part: this has only been seen in test-tube research, never in real people, and everyday fennel in food or tea is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated fennel supplements or the essential oil are where I'd be more cautious. If you use those regularly, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
