Here's the simple version: Trulicity (dulaglutide) already works to lower your blood sugar, and some reports suggest Fo-ti may nudge blood sugar down too. Put them together and, in theory, you could end up a little lower than intended. That might show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, hunger, or feeling foggy, the usual signs of low blood sugar.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. This is a theoretical concern based on how Fo-ti behaves, not strong human studies, so for most people it stays mild. The bigger worry with Fo-ti is actually its link to liver problems. Don't change your Trulicity on your own. Just loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding Fo-ti, and keep an eye on your sugar readings.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
