Chronic exposure to other plants containing hepatotoxic PA constituents is associated with veno-occlusive disease (VOD). Subacute VOD causes vague symptoms with persistent liver enlargement. Symptoms of acute VOD include epigastric pain, vomiting and diarrhea, and ascites formation within several days.”

What Is Somapacitan-beco Injection Used For?

Brand name: Sogroya

Sogroya is used in children aged 2.5 years and older for growth failure caused by the body not making enough growth hormone, short stature in children born small for gestational age (smaller than expected at birth) who haven't caught up in growth by age 2, growth failure linked to Noonan syndrome, and idiopathic short stature (unexplained short stature with no known cause).

In adults, Sogroya is used to replace growth hormone in people whose bodies don't make enough on their own — a condition called adult growth hormone deficiency (GHD).
