Inosine + Avibactam Sodium, Ceftazidime
Avibactam Sodium, Ceftazidime brand name: Avycaz.
We found no known interaction between Inosine and Avibactam Sodium, Ceftazidime in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first. Additionally, although there is no interaction, the two are separately associated with some of the same side effects, which would make a new symptom harder to attribute to one or the other.
Inosine and Avibactam Sodium, Ceftazidime
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Avibactam Sodium, Ceftazidime and Inosine in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

About Inosine
What is Inosine?
- Athletic performance and energy
- Multiple sclerosis (raising uric acid)
- Parkinson's disease (raising uric acid)
- General health and recovery
Inosine is a nucleoside (a building block of DNA and RNA) that the body makes on its own and is also sold as a supplement, mostly marketed for athletic performance. Solid evidence that it boosts exercise performance is lacking, and because it raises uric acid levels, it may pose risks for people with gout or kidney problems. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it.
Not applicable; inosine is a naturally occurring compound (a nucleoside), not a plant part · Capsules, tablets, powder
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Inosine is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Inosine record says about it on its own.
Inosine: dosing
There is no well-established, standardized dose of inosine. Amounts used in studies have varied, and there is no proven safe or effective dose for general use.If you choose to use an inosine product, follow the directions on the label and do not exceed the recommended amount. Do not assume that taking more will give better results.

About Ceftazidime and Avibactam Injection
What Is Ceftazidime and Avibactam Injection Used For?
Brand name: Avycaz
Avycaz (ceftazidime and avibactam) is used to treat three types of serious bacterial infections in adults and children at least 31 weeks gestational age: complicated intra-abdominal infections (cIAI), complicated urinary tract infections (cUTI) including pyelonephritis (a kidney infection), and hospital-acquired bacterial pneumonia or ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia (HABP/VABP). All three of these infections must be caused by specific susceptible gram-negative bacteria for Avycaz to be effective.
When treating complicated intra-abdominal infections, Avycaz must be used together with metronidazole, another antibiotic. Avycaz is only meant for infections proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria that it can actually fight — using it otherwise can lead to antibiotic resistance.
