Here's the simple version: inositol can gently lower your blood sugar on its own, and your insulin already does the same job. Stack them together and those effects can add up, which means your blood sugar could dip lower than you expect. We call that hypoglycemia, and with insulin it can show up as shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat, confusion, or feeling lightheaded.

The good news is this is manageable, not a reason to panic. Good-quality research backs up that inositol lowers glucose and HbA1c, so it's worth a heads-up to your doctor or pharmacist before you start. They may want you checking your sugars a bit more closely at first. Please don't change your insulin dose on your own.

Novolin (human insulin injection) is used to improve glycemic control — meaning blood sugar management — in adults and children with diabetes mellitus.

Novolin 70/30 is a fixed-ratio mixture of intermediate-acting and short-acting human insulin. Because the ratio is fixed, it cannot be adjusted separately for background (basal) or mealtime (prandial) needs.
