Azilsartan, Chlorthalidone falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Java Tea interacts with.

Some preliminary clinical evidence suggests that Java tea has antihypertensive effects. Further, animal research suggests that Java tea has diuretic properties. Theoretically, taking Java tea with other antihypertensive drugs might increase the effects and risk for hypotension with these drugs.

Edarbyclor combines two blood pressure medicines: azilsartan, which relaxes your blood vessels, and chlorthalidone, a water pill that helps your kidneys flush out extra fluid. Java Tea is thought to gently lower blood pressure on its own and may also act as a mild diuretic. So when you stack it on top of this combo, the worry is simply too much of a good thing. Your pressure could dip lower than intended.

In plain terms, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or faint, especially standing up quickly, and the added fluid loss could leave you a bit dehydrated. To be fair, this caution is theoretical, based on how these things work rather than strong human studies. Still, it's smart to check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
