Diltiazem, Enalapril falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Java Tea interacts with.

Some preliminary clinical evidence suggests that Java tea has antihypertensive effects. Further, animal research suggests that Java tea has diuretic properties. Theoretically, taking Java tea with other antihypertensive drugs might increase the effects and risk for hypotension with these drugs.

This combo pill pairs diltiazem (a calcium channel blocker) with enalapril (an ACE inhibitor), and both already work to lower your blood pressure. Java Tea is thought to have a mild blood-pressure-lowering and water-pill (diuretic) effect of its own. So the worry here is simple addition: stacking Java Tea on top of your medicine could push your pressure down a little too far.

Keep in mind this is a theoretical concern based mostly on early lab and animal work, not strong human studies, so it may be modest. Still, watch for signs like dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, unusual tiredness, or a slow heartbeat. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Java Tea rather than changing anything on your own.
