Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Galantamine
Galantamine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Lime interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with galantamine and lime. Your body partly clears galantamine using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab and animal studies suggest that certain plant compounds in lime juice can slow that enzyme down a bit. If galantamine is cleared more slowly, a little more could linger in your system, which may nudge up its usual side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, a slower heart rate, or loss of appetite.
The important part: this is weak, early evidence from animals given high doses of lime juice, not people. A squeeze of lime on your food almost certainly won't matter. Concentrated lime products or large amounts are a different story, so it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist before using those.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Galantamine page
“Galantamine (Razadyne) treats Alzheimer's disease, so it is often a caregiver filling the pill organizer alongside memory supplements and morning juice. That pairing deserves genuine care, because three of the 170 supplement ingredients on file are rated major and two of them are everyday items.”

About Lime
What is Lime?
- Source of vitamin C
- Digestive upset
- Skin care
- Mood and aromatherapy
- Flavoring and food preservation
Lime is a common citrus fruit and a good natural source of vitamin C and plant antioxidants. As a food it is generally safe and enjoyed by most people, but evidence that lime treats any specific health condition is limited. Use the essential oil with care, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before using concentrated lime products for health reasons.
About Galantamine
What Is Galantamine Used For?
Brand names: Reminyl, Razadyne
Galantamine — available as extended-release capsules, tablets, and an oral solution — is used to treat mild to moderate dementia caused by Alzheimer's disease. All supported formulations share this indication.
It does not cure or slow the underlying disease, but it can help support cognitive function in people with early to moderate-stage Alzheimer's. Its benefits may lessen as the disease progresses and more brain cells are lost.
