Animal research suggests that high doses of Manchurian thorn can induce liver damage. Theoretically, concomitant use with other potentially hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of developing liver damage.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Zeposia (ozanimod): it's a medication that can already put some stress on the liver, which is why your doctor usually checks your liver enzymes before you start it. Manchurian Thorn is in the same boat, in that high doses caused liver injury in animal studies. Stack two things that can both bother the liver, and in theory you may raise the chances of trouble.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on animal data, not proven in people, so I don't want you to panic. Still, watch for signs like yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual tiredness, and loop in your pharmacist or doctor before combining them. Please don't stop your Zeposia on your own.
