Ozanimod Hydrochloride falls under Qt Interval-Prolonging Drugs — the group American Hellebore interacts with.

American hellebore, also known as Veratrum viride, contains alkaloids that can potentially prolong the QT interval on an electrocardiogram (ECG). This effect is similar to that of certain medications known as QT-prolonging drugs, which can increase the risk of a serious heart rhythm disorder called torsades de pointes (source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4728534/). Combining American hellebore with other drugs that cause QT-prolongation can increase the risk of adverse effects.

Here's the concern with pairing American hellebore and Zeposia (ozanimod). Ozanimod already has a known effect on your heart: when you first start it, it can slow your heart rate and nudge the electrical timing of your heartbeat (something doctors call the QT interval). That's why there's a careful dose ramp-up at the beginning. American hellebore is a poisonous plant whose alkaloids can also slow the heart, drop blood pressure, and stretch out that same QT interval.

Stack the two together and you raise the risk of a dangerous rhythm called torsades de pointes, which can cause fainting or worse. The evidence here is modest, but because both act on the heart in the same direction, I'd treat this seriously. Please don't use any hellebore product, and check with your doctor or pharmacist first.
