Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
STIMULANT DRUGS
Why this applies to Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine
Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group N-methyltyramine interacts with.
Some stimulant drugs include amphetamine, caffeine, diethylpropion (Tenuate), methylphenidate, phentermine (Ionamin), pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, others), and many others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
The piece of Zutripro that matters here is the pseudoephedrine, which is itself a stimulant decongestant. N-methyltyramine is thought to mildly rev up your body's "fight or flight" system, so on paper, stacking it with pseudoephedrine could add up to more of that effect. Realistically that might mean a faster heart rate, a jittery feeling, trouble sleeping, or a bump in blood pressure.
I want to be honest, though: this is a theoretical concern based on how these compounds might behave, and human studies don't clearly show that N-methyltyramine even works as a stimulant. It's rated minor. Still, if you have heart issues or high blood pressure, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

About N-methyltyramine
What is N-methyltyramine?
- Weight loss and fat burning
- Energy and pre-workout supplements
- Sports performance
- Appetite control
N-methyltyramine is a natural compound related to tyramine that is found in bitter orange, barley, and other plants, and it is often added to weight-loss and pre-workout supplements. Solid human research on its safety and effectiveness is very limited, and because it may stimulate the body like other amines, people with heart problems or high blood pressure should be especially careful. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before using any product that contains it.
