Nadh and Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide and Nadh in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Nadh at all — not against Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide page

“Ascriptin combines aspirin with two antacids, aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, and the aspirin part already thins the blood on its own. That is why more than 200 of the 255 ingredients listed here can raise bleeding risk, and why this page deserves a careful read rather than a quick skim.”

About Nadh

What is Nadh?

  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Low energy and tiredness
  • Athletic performance
  • Mental clarity and focus
  • Parkinson's disease (investigational)
  • Jet lag

NADH is the active, electron-carrying form of niacin (vitamin B3) that your body uses to make energy in cells. Some people take it as a supplement for fatigue, mental sharpness, and athletic performance, but solid human evidence is limited and mostly preliminary. It appears generally well tolerated in the short term, but talk with your pharmacist or doctor before trying it.

Not applicable (a coenzyme form of vitamin B3/niacin) · Tablets, capsules, sublingual lozenges, sometimes intravenous (clinical settings)

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Nadh is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Nadh record says about it on its own.

Nadh: dosing

There is no official, standardized dose of NADH. Doses used in studies have varied, and product strengths differ from brand to brand. Sublingual (under-the-tongue) forms are marketed as being better absorbed, though strong proof for this is limited. The safest approach is to follow the directions on the product label and not exceed the recommended amount. Taking it earlier in the day may help avoid sleep problems.

About Aspirin

What Is Aspirin Used For?

Brand name: Ascriptin

Aspirin is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from headaches, backaches, muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, the common cold, and minor arthritis pain. It also temporarily reduces fever.

Some coated aspirin tablet products note that, under a doctor's supervision, aspirin can help prevent another heart attack or stroke in adults who have already had one. Because of their delayed-release design, those coated products will not give fast relief for headaches or other symptoms needing quick relief.
