Here's the simple version: Tryvio (aprocitentan) is a prescription pill that lowers blood pressure by relaxing your blood vessels. Nattokinase, the enzyme from natto, may nudge blood pressure down a little on its own. Stack the two together and, in theory, your numbers could dip lower than expected.

To be clear, this concern is theoretical, based on how each one works rather than strong studies pairing them. Still, if your pressure drops too far, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or tired, especially when you stand up quickly. Aprocitentan can also cause fluid retention and swelling, so blood pressure changes are worth watching. Please don't start or stop anything on your own. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor first so they can keep an eye on your readings.

Nattokinase is an enzyme from the fermented soybean food natto that may have mild blood-thinning and blood-flow effects. Some small studies hint at benefits for blood pressure and circulation, but the evidence is limited and more research is needed. What Is Aprocitentan Used For?

Brand name: Tryvio

Tryvio is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults who are already taking other blood pressure medications but still don't have their blood pressure under control. It is always used in combination with other antihypertensive (blood pressure-lowering) drugs — not on its own.

Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks. Tryvio has not been shown in controlled trials to directly reduce those events itself, but blood pressure control overall does.
