Carteolol is a beta-blocker, used both as eye drops for glaucoma and in pill form to lower blood pressure. Here's the thing to keep in mind: nattokinase may have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own. So if you take it alongside carteolol, the two could add together and nudge your blood pressure lower than expected.

If that happens, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or tired, especially when you stand up quickly. Now, this concern is theoretical, based on how nattokinase works rather than strong studies, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before starting nattokinase, and keep an eye on how you feel if you do.
