Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Methyldopa
Methyldopa falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Olive Oil interacts with.
Some clinical and observational research suggests that adding olive oil into the diet, especially in place of saturated fat, is associated with reduced blood pressure.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the simple version: olive oil itself can have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect, especially when you use it in place of butter or other saturated fats. Since methyldopa already works to relax your blood vessels and bring your numbers down, the two together may nudge your blood pressure a little lower. This is an additive effect, not a dangerous chemical clash, and it isn't about how your body breaks down the drug.
For most people, cooking with olive oil is a heart-healthy choice and unlikely to cause problems. Just keep an eye out for signs your pressure dipped too far, like dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, or feeling unusually tired, which can already happen with methyldopa. If you're thinking about concentrated olive oil supplements, check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Methyldopa page
“Alcohol is the entry I would read first. Methyldopa (Aldomet) can be hard on the liver by itself, and 38 of the 173 supplement and herbal ingredients here, beer and wine included, carry liver risks that could stack on top of that.”

Natural Medicines records Methyldopa as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Olive Oil — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
