Olive Oil + Rescinnamine
Rescinnamine brand name: Moderil.
Olive Oil has a moderate interaction with Rescinnamine. Theoretically, taking olive oil with antihypertensive drugs might have additive effects on blood pressure.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Rescinnamine
Rescinnamine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Olive Oil interacts with.
Some clinical and observational research suggests that adding olive oil into the diet, especially in place of saturated fat, is associated with reduced blood pressure.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the simple version for you. Rescinnamine (Moderil) is an older blood pressure medicine, and olive oil itself can also nudge blood pressure down a little, especially when it replaces less healthy fats in your meals. So when you put the two together, the effects can stack up and your blood pressure may drop a bit more than the medicine alone would do.
For most people, the amount of olive oil used in cooking is gentle and not a concern. The thing to watch for is feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or tired, particularly when standing up quickly. This combination is generally helpful rather than dangerous, but if you notice those symptoms, check in with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

This page covers Olive Oil only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Rescinnamine page lists 136 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.
The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), American Hellebore (major), American Mistletoe (major), Tyramine (major) and Adrafinil (moderate).
By severity: 4 major · 111 moderate · 21 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Rescinnamine page
“American hellebore is the entry I would flag first for anyone taking rescinnamine (Moderil). Even small amounts of the herb drop blood pressure sharply and can slow the heart, and rescinnamine is already working to bring pressure down.”

Rescinnamine Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Rescinnamine as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Olive Oil — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
