Panax Ginseng + Moxifloxacin

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS
Why this applies to Moxifloxacin
Moxifloxacin falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Panax Ginseng interacts with.
Clinical research shows that short-term use of Panax ginseng can increase the QT interval. However, no changes in QT interval have been identified with prolonged use.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for these two together. Moxifloxacin is well known for stretching out the heart's electrical recovery time, something doctors call QT prolongation. Panax ginseng may nudge that same QT interval a little longer too. Stack them and the small effects could add up, which in rare cases raises the chance of an abnormal heart rhythm. The good news is the evidence here is mostly theoretical and actually conflicting. Short-term ginseng use bumped the QT slightly in one study, but longer use showed no change.
This isn't a reason to panic, but it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you have heart issues, low potassium or magnesium, or take other QT-affecting medicines. Don't start, stop, or change anything on your own.
